By providing these solutions, it will greatly remove or destroy existing germs as quickly and economically as possible. The result will be a healthier building environment, as well as healthier employees, students and faculty.
It is our dream to raise awareness of the dangers of un-sanitized surfaces and poor indoor air quality in the work place, as well as the knowledge that though a surface may look clean, it isn’t clean until the germs have been removed. We want to provide a viable economical solution for creating healthy environments, generating higher levels of productivity and lower rates of illness and absenteeism, all while saving our client’s money. All great companies are staffed by great people, and Non-Core Business Solutions is no exception. As a company that specializes in sanitizing and cleaning for health in public schools, colleges, medical facilities, offices, plants, and airports, we have to be knowledgeable in many fields.
While we employ hundreds of valuable team members that contribute to the success we’ve upheld since 1959, here are the top people that make NCBS the powerful commercial sanitizing and cleaning company it is today:
Our founder and CEO, James S. Ray, Sr., gained his commercial cleaning and expertise working as an engineer for one of the two largest janitorial services companies in Atlanta, Georgia. During that time, he developed methods and procedures for improving the performance of custodial workers, which he has carried over to NCBS.
Mr. Ray majored in math and has degrees in math from Mercer University, industrial engineering from Georgia Tech, and a MBA from University of North Carolina in Greensboro, as well as leadership training at U.S. Navy Officers Candidate School. He’s taught high school science, college physics, and has served as a line officer with the U.S. Navy.
Mr. Ray has served on the board of directors of the Building Service Contractors International and is a Certified Building Service Executive (CBSE), the highest designation this organization gives. He has been Vice Chairman of the United Way of Greensboro, Vice President of the Better Business Bureau of Greensboro, he is a life member of the Greensboro Chamber of Commerce, has been a Rotarian for 46 years, and has served in many other leadership roles in his church and the community.
Richard Gaines is head of our accounting department and has organized it into the best shape ever. He has a bachelor’s degree in accounting, and boasts extensive experience as an accountant and consultant, along with other financial roles that have fueled his career.
Susan Luu manages our corporate office. Susan’s kind, upbeat demeanor keeps our hundreds of employees accountable and satisfied with her flawless organizational skills and payroll processing.
Director of Sales and Marketing
Craig Cox comes to NCBS with over 25 years’ experience in sales and marketing. His responsibilities include leading the sales and marketing team where he oversees the execution of all marketing and sales directives. His goals as Director of Sales and Marketing include establishing proactive and positive relationships with current and potential clients in order to drive increasing sales of NCBS services. Craig spent most of his career with Reynolds Food Packaging in various rolls including, Sales Manager, Broker Manager, Marketing and Product Manager.
Marketing and Communications Design Manager
R. Frank Bowers came to the NCBS team with 25 years’ experience in graphic communications and publications design and marketing. He is in charge of designing and creating all our marketing material, website re-design, creative writing of all sales and promotional material, as well as producing and maintaining all email marketing campaigns under the direction of the Sales Manager. He is also responsible for writing all letters, contracts and proposals for all offices. His outgoing and gregarious personality along with his creative communications and publication skills make him a real asset to the company.
Safety Training Manager
With 17 years as our production supervisor and training manager, Samantha Ginsmer oversees safety training. After she took over the safety training, our incidences of accidents two years ago almost dropped to zero and those we did have were minor. Last year, we had zero incidents.
Brandon Luu keeps our computers and electronics in top condition working at top speed. He helps us choose equipment and makes repairs as needed. Having a person on staff who can troubleshoot our problems and answer our questions immediately is invaluable.
Eastern Carolina Division
One of our best division managers, Ricky Stanley presides over Eastern Carolina, headquartered in Raleigh. Ricky brings decades of industry experience and extensive cleaning knowledge regarding businesses, plants, schools, and other organizations. Ricky gets many letters complementing our service and praising his exemplary customer service and ability to make a building shine.
Western Carolina Division
Ronnie Burnett is the Division Manager over this division. Ronnie has been with us seven years, and is a fast learner. Known for his exceptional customer service, clients look to his leadership and reliable professionalism. Ronnie is top among our managers when it comes to applying company industrial engineering principles.
Robert Borders is the manager of this region, and has been with us for more than 46 years. His experience, dedication to service, and knowledge of this business is unsurpassed. His customers will swear there’s no better man than Robert.
